INGREDIENTS:
4 tablespoons Videri Cocoa Powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons corn starch
2 large beaten eggs
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
5 oz evaporated milk (1 small can)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 unbaked pie crust; 9 inch
1/4 cup Videri Cocoa Nibs
Cabot Creamery whipped cream
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Whisk Videri Cocoa Powder, sugar, and corn starch to combine. Add eggs, butter, milk, and vanilla and stir until fully incorporated.
Pour pie filling mixture into the unbaked pie crust. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, ensuring a crust has formed over the top of the pie. Let cool before slicing and serving.
For a fun twist, add our cocoa nibs to the top of your pie for a crackly and crunchy texture.
Tips:
If the pie is too runny and has not set, feel free to pop it in the fridge for an hour or two to achieve optimal consistency. Feel free to add our cocoa nibs before or after setting— it is completely up to you!
