Free self guided tour information:

  • General: 
    • Our self guided factory tour is set up museum-style with viewing windows that offer a peek into our chocolate production world. 
    • Our production team makes chocolate Monday - Friday from 10am - 3pm. 
    • At any point, the production team may be roasting cocoa beans, cooking caramel, loading the chocolate grinder, or manufacturing chocolate bars.
    • Informational signs explain the chocolate making process from farm to factory.
    • After exploring the factory, enjoy free samples of chocolate bars while purchasing bars, bonbons, gifts, and more! 
  • Length:
    • Our factory is small but mighty! It takes approximately 15 minutes to explore the factory, read the informative signs, and observe through the viewing windows. 
  • Cost: 
    • Self guided tours are FREE!
  • Less than 10 people: 
    • Come by any time! No appointment is needed for less than 10 people. 
  • Groups of 10 or more: 
    • Groups of 10 - 20 people must book in advance. Call The Factory at 919-755-5053 to reserve a spot on our calendar. 
  • Constraints: 
    • We are a small facility and we want to provide the best viewing experience. For that reason, we ask that groups are limited to no more than 20 people.
  • How to schedule a group: 
    • Less than 10 people: Come by any time! No appointment needed. 
    • Groups of 10 or more: Call The Factory at 919-755-5053 to reserve a spot on our calendar. 

Paid guided tours for groups of 10 or more:

  • General: 
    • On a guided tour, a guide will describe each step of the chocolate making process while sharing fun facts and details about Videri Chocolate Factory. The guided tour follows the same footprint of the self guided tour. 
    • The factory is set museum-style with viewing windows that offer a peek into our chocolate production world. 
    • On the guided tour there is an option to peel and taste a roasted cocoa bean.
    • The guided tour includes a bonbon for each attendee as well as a flight of chocolate bar samples. 
    • Our production team makes chocolate Monday - Friday from 10am - 3pm. 
    • At any point, the production team may be roasting cocoa beans, cooking caramel, loading the chocolate grinder, or manufacturing chocolate bars. 
    • After exploring the factory, attendees may purchase bars, bonbons, gifts, and more!

  • Cost: 
    • Guided tours are $20 per person
  • Requirements to book: 
    • A minimum of 10 people in a group is required to book a guided tour. 
  • Constraints: 
    • We are a small facility and we want to provide the best viewing experience. For that reason, we ask that groups are limited to no more than 20 people.
  • Availability: 
    • Guided tours are available during the week (Mon - Fri) from 10am - 3pm. 
    • Guided tours are available on Saturday at 10am. 
    • We are unable to offer guided tours on Sunday. 
  • Payment information: 
    • After booking a guided tour, you will receive an email with a link to pay online. 
    • Payment is due prior to the tour. 
  • Rescheduling a guided tour:
    • Due to staffing and scheduling we are unable to offer refunds if a tour is canceled. 
    • Please contact a week in advance if you would like to reschedule a pre-paid tour.
  • How to schedule a group: 
    • Less than 10 people: Unfortunately, we are unable to book guided tours with less than 10 people.
