Recipe: Cocoa Tea Horchata
Our (chocolatey, obviously :) ) twist on a classic iced horchata. We love to whip up a batch for events because it’s delicious, refreshing, and a bit expected from a chocolate factory. It’s also super easy to make at home and a great way to wow your summertime guests. Enjoy!
Yield: 1 Gallon
Ingredients:
6 cups white rice
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 cinnamon stick
1 gallon water
Instructions:
In a blender: combine half of the water with all of the rice and cinnamon stick. Blend until rice and cinnamon are broken into small pieces.
Pour blended rice mixture into a container large enough to hold all remaining ingredients. Add remaining water, cocoa tea, and sugar. Let sit overnight in the fridge.
Strain and serve over ice.
