Introducing yet another member of our dedicated team - Sabrina! As a part of the Production and Confection teams, her hard work delivers the delicious chocolate we love! We couldn’t do it without her, so let’s get to know Sabrina a bit better!

Hometown: Knightdale, NC
Worked at Videri Since: I’ve worked at Videri twice! First in 2021, and then I took a break to start our family. I came back in September of 2023, and have been chocolatier-ing and chocolate making ever since!

Why work with chocolate, and specifically Videri?
Sweets are superior. They make people smile. And Videri makes some of the best!
Anything you never expected about working at a chocolate factory?
It’s super loud, but still pretty calming.
What’s something you wish everyone knew about working at a chocolate factory?
Your clothes smell like chocolate forever. Everything smells like chocolate. Not a complaint for me!
What’s one thing you love about the Back of House team here at Videri?
Honestly, all my coworkers just really nice, cool people. They also don’t make me feel like it’s the end of the world if I make a mistake.
If you had to watch one television show forever, what would it be?
Probably My Name is Earl. I’ve seen it so many times that I know every episode… but it still makes me laugh.
What’s your current favorite restaurant around town, and what do you love to order?
I’m really not a foodie. When we rarely use Door Dash, I always get enchiladas from San Jose. I’ve never even stepped foot in the place, but they are delicious!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
Anywhere that doesn’t require me to camp.
If you could have dinner with any character in the world, living or dead, who would it be?
Dexter! It would probably be really awkward, but I think he’s cool.
When you’re not working, where can we find you around town?
Home! I primarily spend a lot of time with my husband and toddler. And I read romance novels all the time.
What’s your current favorite (chocolate) bar, and what do you love about it?
55% Dark Milk Crunch with Sea Salt!! It has everything a girl needs in life.
What’s your favorite seasonal bonbon, and why?
Right now it’s the cherry lime. The dried cherry on top gets me every time.
And, lastly, what’s your go-to soft serve combination?
Probably chocolate soft serve with House Toffee. You’d think I’d get tired of toffee, but I don’t.
